Minte de Heks – Premièrevoorstelling op Camping de Paal
Al vele jaren verzorg ik muziekproducties voor Camping de Paal. Van herarrangementen en muziekbewerkingen voor theatervoorstellingen tot liedjes en muziek die op de camping zelf worden gebruikt.
Ook voor Minte de Heks heb ik aan de muziek gewerkt.
Op de foto zie je de spelers van deze premièrevoorstelling.

EMOM9000 Gent – Dat smaakt naar meer!
Op 10 oktober speelde ik bij EMOM9000 in Funke, Gent. Wat een heerlijke avond vol elektronische muziek, bijzondere klanken en een fijne sfeer!
In deze reel een korte impressie van mijn optreden.
En het mooie is: in april kom ik terug naar Gent! Dit keer samen met Leon van Egmond op trombone en mondharmonica.
Samen verkennen we de wereld van elektro-akoestische soundscapes, waarin live elektronica en akoestische instrumenten samenkomen.
Ik kijk er nu al naar uit!

Op zaterdag 10 oktober speelde ik als Budha Building tijdens EMOM 9000 bij Funke in Gent. Deze Electronic Music Open Mic biedt ruimte aan elektronische muzikanten om live te spelen, te experimenteren en elkaar te ontmoeten.
Een mooie avond vol elektronische muziek en uitwisseling, met visuals van nove.

Trombone, mondharmonica, elektronica en beeld ontmoeten elkaar op donderdag 29 oktober bij POM Eindhoven.Leon van Egmond en Hans Timmermans presenteren een audiovisuele performance vanuit hun gezamenlijke residentie.
Tijdens deze residentie onderzoeken zij hoe akoestische klanken kunnen uitgroeien tot elektro-akoestische soundscapes. Op zaterdag 10 oktober speel ik als Buddha Building aka Hans Timmermans tijdens EMOM9000 bij Funke.
EMOM9000 staat volledig in het teken van live uitgevoerde elektronische muziek: geen DJ-sets, maar korte live performances direct op de dansvloer.
Mijn set is van 17.50 tot 18.20 uur. Verwacht een combinatie van ambient, elektronische klanklandschappen, improvisatie en experimentele elektronica.

On May 8, 2026, we recorded an improvised live session at Kraakwerk Studio in Carré Tilburg, filmed by Ilse van Heel.
During this session, Léon van Egmond played harmonica and trombone, while I, Hans Timmermans / Budha Building, created the electronic soundscapes.
Afterwards, I brought the music into Magic Music Visuals, where I created audio-reactive visuals that respond directly to the sound. The visuals were made using ISF shaders and ISF FX plugins.

The audiovisual performance of Hans Timmermans (video and sound design) and Jeroen van Vliet (piano) focuses on the interaction between the piano and the computer-generated visuals. Hans Timmermans designed the interaction between visuals and sound: pianist Jeroen van Vliet responds to computer-generated visuals. In turn, the visuals are influenced by the sounds of the piano.

Hans Timmermans aka Budha Building Answering Messiaens Awaiting is a piece that is a response to Et exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum, And I await the resurrection of the dead, from Olivier Messiaen.
For this response improvised composition Hans Timmermans used the rehearsal recordings of Vera Hofman’s Next Ensemble. These recordings were made by Kees van de Wiel.
